to be spellbound [12:30 A.M.]: Valentine was heading up the stairs. The place had decided to make noises the last few nights and she wanted to know why. She was dragging with her a large book she was planning to take home with her - now that the portal was upstairs - it made things a little harder for her. She had forgot her powders at home to make things float, so she was forced to do it the old fashion weigh. The magic in Valentine wasn't strong as it kept being channeled away to the baby, but she didn't know that and wouldn't admit it either. Causing her to make a lot of annoying noises in the hallway that Cedric might hear.(d)
to be spellbound [12:31 A.M.]: ( You can get AIM to do it. Not AOL. AOL you can log rooms but not chats. I do EVERYTHING on AIM because it logs )
Deadwood Graves [12:31 A.M.]: (Lame sauce AOL. -_-)
to be spellbound [12:32 A.M.]: ( AOL doesn't invest in AOL anymore only in AIM and such )
Deadwood Graves [12:37 A.M.]: Cedric's eyes slowly lifted away from page 153 of his book as the noises distracted him from his train of thought. Wasn't everyone asleep by now? Shouldn't everyone be asleep by now? He set his bookmarker in place before shutting the book and getting out of bed, putting his robe on of course since he was just in his briefs. His door creaked open as he popped his head out and looked down the hallway. His eyes spotted Val as the culprit. "Val? Is that you?" he asked, squinting as the vision through
Deadwood Graves [12:37 A.M.]: his glasses was disoriented - being that they were only reading glasses.
to be spellbound [12:40 A.M.]: Valentine smiled toward Cedric from her place with the box. "Hi." She said softly as she looked down at the box she was dragging behind her. "Sorry. I didn't me.. " She pulled one last time and the box made it to the top of the stairs and onto the platform between the hallways and the ... Valentine looked one way and then the other. "Um.. You see that? I'm not crazy, right?" She pointed to the other side of her - showing a hallway exactly the same as the one that held the six bedrooms and small kitchen space that the Tower already had. "Is that a mirror.. or am I losing it?" She really didn't know why she ever questioned what the tower did. Why she didn't throw herself full heartly into the fact that now there was suddenly ANOTHER set of six bedrooms. There was a door located on one end of both sides now. "Okay.. was that there when you went to bed?"-d
Deadwood Graves [12:49 A.M.]: "Here, let me help you with that." He wasn't going to allow her to say no. He raised his hand towards the box and a ball of white light shot out at it, causing the whole box to glow as it suddenly lifted itself up off the ground and followed close besides Val so that she no longer had to lift it. "Just tap it with your hand twice once you've got it where you want it and the enchantment will dissipate." He smiled before looking at the other set of bedrooms, eyebrows furrowing as he hadn't noticed it before.
Deadwood Graves [12:51 A.M.]: "Erm. I... Actually... I don't know. Er, I don't think so?" He blinked several times, tilting his head to the side. "Did the place just... grow new rooms? Guess I shouldn't feel too surprised... This place truly does have a mind of it's own."
to be spellbound [12:54 A.M.]: She watched the thing float. A little sigh came from her wishing she had her powders. By now, that should be a spell she had mastered, but she had not taken the time to do so. Valentine nodded her head, "Thank you." She flashed a smile. As she left it behind she started down the hallway and decided to attempt to open the first door she found, but couldn't. "Can you go see if there are new keys downstairs at the bar?" She wondered.-d
Deadwood Graves [1:00 A.M.]: "No problem. And yes I can do that." He adjusted his robe a bit, tying the robe tie thingys around his waist together before the pads of his bare feet softly pitter-pattered down the stairs. His blue eyes scanned the bar area - and sure enough - a new set of keys. He took them into his hands and jingled them about so that Val could hear them from upstairs. "Aye, a new set of keys!" he shouted up from below before making his way back up, gently tossing the keys at her as he reached the top of the stairs.
Deadwood Graves [1:01 A.M.]: "Well this is exciting!"
to be spellbound [1:04 A.M.]: She grabbed the keys while they were tossed, doing her best only to catch one of them. Looking down at the rest. "Okay.. I have a secret.. I'm not good with sports.. weapons, combat.. great with.. catching.. fail." She snickered as she bent over and grabbed up a few of the ones she had dropped. Handing him over three. "You get three. I get three.. you can call first dibs if you want one." They will all look the same as the other side. Which all had the same room set - small bed, desk, nightstand, small bath crawl foot tub. And a fake magical window that seemed real. She looked at the first door - which matched where the kitchen was on the other side. "What do we expect this to be? I'm kinda nervous."
to be spellbound [1:04 A.M.]: -d-
Deadwood Graves [1:11 A.M.]: Perhaps he should of just handed them to her. He felt bad watching her pick up the ones that fell onto the ground. "Sorry, didn't mean for that, heh!" He grabbed the three keys, peering down at them and then back up at her, both of his eyebrows raised as he wasn't quite sure what to expect either. "Erm, not quite sure. Let's open them up at the same time." He made his way towards the door of the room next to the one Val was going to open, sticking the key into the lock and waiting for her to start.
to be spellbound [1:16 A.M.]: She took a breath ane opened the first door - that matched the kitchen - and found a community lounge area. No TV - but a couch and living space for people outside of their bedrooms. She raised a brow. "I guess this is supposed to be a living room here." She then took to opening the bedrooms. "Bedroom 7. Simple Queen sized. Same like yours, I believe. You have white linens, right?"-d
to be spellbound [1:18 A.M.]: ( switching ti laydown - give me 3 seconds )
Deadwood Graves [1:25 A.M.]: Once she had opened the door he opened his, blue eyes scanning the room as it looked like an exact replica of what the bedroom on the other side would look like. "Well, nothing odd about this one. Looks about right to me." He nodded his head. "Yes, the sheets are white." He closed the door and locked it, opening up the other room's door. "Nothing unusual about this one either." And then off to the last one.
to be spellbound [1:31 A.M.]: All the rooms were normal. Wolf Moon was behaving for once. Through she knew that the Eggs Dove got were not going to behave in the long run. She had pictured a million things on what the eggs could be or do since seeing them. She turned to look toward Cedric then and to the door at the direct end of the hall. "Okay.. so there is a door here.." And turned to look toward the other end of the hall. "And one there.. If these two turn into each other I am going to have a heart attacck."-d
Deadwood Graves [1:36 A.M.]: And so the last one turned out to be normal, which was quite a relief because Cedric was hoping he wouldn't open the door to find a giant dragon ready to breathe fire onto him or some other kind of madness. He closed the door shut, locking it up before turning towards Val and quirking up a brow as he looked at the doors she pointed out. "Turn into eachother? You mean like... if I were to walk in through this door on this side, I'd wind up coming out through the other door on that side, or something?"
to be spellbound [1:41 A.M.]: "Yeah. Like that. I would not put this place past it." She stared at the door, and then at Cedric then. She took a heavy breath as she put her hand on the knob then. "Ready?" She was afraid this might not be a good door. As everything seemed to be going over just fine. There had to be something else going on in this place. She knew that the Kitchen Brownie - who was on cleaning duty, was going to be annoyed."-d
Deadwood Graves [1:47 A.M.]: He stood close beside her (just like the enchanted box) as he was preparing himself for anything. His blues eyes intense and jaw sharp and clenched as he peered over at her, nodding his head. "Ready."
to be spellbound [1:54 A.M.]: She held her breath, and pulled the door open. Stairs. That is what they found. Nothing special at all. Stairs downward to a door. "Okay that was boring. I expected somethign awesome. Dove got eggs.. I get stairs." She frowned in disappointment. "Then again. I guess I got the tower itself."-d
Deadwood Graves [2:00 A.M.]: He exhaled, letting out the tension as they had only come to find a staircase and a door. He couldn't help but let out a snicker towards their anticipation for just a bunch of steps. "Well then, there's that." He crossed his arms, peering down the door below. "Any clue where that door might lead to?" He quirked up a brow.
to be spellbound [2:01 A.M.]: "I dare you go to see." Was so not ready to get excited to find out something dumb. She waited at the top of the stairs and half pushed him down the stairs. WHen he got to the bottom the door would open up to the parking lot outside of the Wolf Moon.
to be spellbound [2:02 A.M.]: ( can you email me this log when we are done )
Deadwood Graves [2:05 A.M.]: He went to go see for himself, poking his head out and looking from side to side as gusts of wind blew into his face. He shut the door once he saw it was simply a parking lot, making his way back up. "Well, guess that's a nice short-cut. One I'd never use." Since he doesn't even have a car, nor has he ever driven one. "Well, I think I'm going to settle in at this new room here at the very end, since I've got dibs on one and all."
Deadwood Graves [2:06 A.M.]: (Yup yup.)
to be spellbound [2:12 A.M.]: "What one are you dibbing?" She wondered as she started to collect keys. She smirked gently as she looked to the other side of the hallway. "I am guessing that is the portal room It's marked private. Ok!" She moved to her floating doors. "Put the keys away after you move the stuff." In such a horrible way she tossed them into the air and let them fall to the ground. She had an odd feeling Wolf Moon would put them away.-d
Deadwood Graves [2:18 A.M.]: "Just the last room. The one furthest away from the stairs. I just like being closer to the end of the hallway." He nodded his head, watching the keys be tossed and then fall onto the ground. "Er... I'll just set them in my room and let Wolf Moon find a place for 'em." He chuckled before heading back to his original room. He had books, clothing, and other belongings he needed to get settled into his new room. All it took for him was just a snap of the finger and it all disappeared and neatly popped back up
Deadwood Graves [2:19 A.M.]: into the other room he choice to stay in. "Well, there's that. Think I'm going to continue reading my book now." His blue eyes looked over to Val as he walked back down the hallway towards his new room, adjusting his robe some.
Deadwood Graves [2:20 A.M.]: *chose
to be spellbound [2:23 A.M.]: "Who knows. People might end up using those stairs and you'll end up right in the middle of traffic. We'll see what happens." She smirked. "Or who knows! This place has taught me never to guess." She flashed a smile towrd him then. "See you tomorrow. And thanks for the help." She pushed the floating box right to the portal room door. "Night Cedric!"
Deadwood Graves [2:27 A.M.]: He shrugged. "You're right, who knows!" He chuckled, nodding and waving his hand at her some. "Rest well. I bid thee goodnight." He entered his new room, locked the door, set the keys down, took off his robe, plopped into bed, poked his glasses further up the bridge of his nose, opened his book, and continued on reading for the remainder of the night.
Deadwood Graves [2:27 A.M.]: (Goodnight!)
to be spellbound [2:27 A.M.]: ( night night! )
