The Mad Alchemist and His Laboratory. [ The Alchemy Lab ]

The flame of candlelight flickered in the steady air besides the mage's resting head. It wasn't until small vibrations that formed somewhere within Wolf Moon grew stronger and stronger before rumbling so violently that it caused the candle to tremble across the desk, fall onto the floor, and turn out. Cedric was shaken from his dreamland as snoring came to an abrupt stop and his head quickly lifted up. His hands gripped onto the desk's edge; blue eyes wide and alert now.

A loud BOOM! came from the wall at the far end of the library; somewhere beyond bookshelves and bookstages and out of Cedric's sight to see. He couldn't see it, but the force behind it was certainly felt. 

The tremors stopped, and the mage was once more left in silence. He stared towards the direction of where he thought he heard the boom coming from, blinking several times as he pondered on what the Tower must of cooked up now. Interesting enough, the sleeping book characters did not rattle awake, as if they had been expecting it to happen. Did they expect it to happen? Cedric could only wonder.

The candle that had tumbled onto the floor and turned out slowly raised up and lit itself up again -- but not by the means of the mage's telekinesis. It was something else. Cedric gave it a peculiar look before glancing around the library to see if anyone else were around... but everything around him suddenly fell too dark to see beyond the orange glow of the candlelight. The candle -- now a beacon through the darkness -- began floating off towards an aisle of books before pausing, waiting; the flame flickering about on it as it enlarged itself for a split second and swayed towards the direction of the boom, as if beckoning Cedric and anyone else to come on over and follow...
