Accepted Arcana: Blinking, he looked down as she poked, prodded and groped.
"I... uh... well. I have two voice boxes, so I can double my voice if I need
to." Clearing his throat, he reached up and scratched at the back of his
head. "I also...
Accepted Arcana: well, my blood is different."
AIongWithMe: She heard his doubled voice and smirked. "That's interesting."
When he went on to say his blood was different...that's when she took a step
back. "Mmm, let's not make me hungry." She smirked and licked her fangs a
bit. "Anything
AIongWithMe: else?":::
Accepted Arcana: "..." He sat there in silence with a dropped jaw for a
moment as she licked at her fangs, unsure of exactly how to take a statement
like that. Still, he let out a paused breath and then shook his head.
"Nothing physical. Though
Accepted Arcana: I don't react well to most kinds of restoratvie magic."
AIongWithMe: Seeing his jaw dropped she inhaled and groaned lightly, "I
munch on souls for chi, I munch on blood to live." She informed him and
shifted her weight from one leg to the other then back again. "Your potion
did not expell the holy
AIongWithMe: essense from my system." She informed him.:::
AIongWithMe: "It healed me, but did not expell the poison.":::
Accepted Arcana: Her quick explanation was met with a smile and a nod, as if
it made sense and all was right with the world now. "It likely wouldn't. It
was just for the flesh. You would need a stronger spell to remove the
lingering effects. I
Accepted Arcana: don't have the knowledge to properly prepare a stronger
potion, or cast something so powerful, but there are a few that might work."
AIongWithMe: Gabriella rubbed the back of her neck and smiled with that. She
pulled her arm out of the clock and showed him her arm. It was
barely...barely still scarred from the whole incident. "It is waning." She
mentioned and smiled. "I'm
AIongWithMe: sure it will all be gone soon enough." She looked up to him and
thought a moment. "Are souls louder when they are free of bodies?" She asked
as she put her hands out infront of her face. As if to blow something in her
hands at him.
AIongWithMe: But when she exhaled through a soft 'whistle' with no noise,
bright green wisps danced along in her hands. She used her psionic pressure
to keep the small wisps dancing about in her hand instead of scattering.:::
Accepted Arcana: Watching the display with a tilt of his head and a blink,
he considered the question for a moment. "You know, I've never really
thought about it?" Smirking a bit, he hooked his hands in his pockets and
watched the whisps dance
Accepted Arcana: around her palms.
AIongWithMe: "Alright...let's see then." She rolled her shoulders a bit. "I
devoured a few earlier today...let's see if I can get a full soul without
getting too weak in the process." She wink and swallowed before getting
herself ready. She
AIongWithMe: waved her hand in a spiral, making the wisps vortex like a
tornado between then. She started to exhale more wisps, but these ones were a
light blue. The soul not yet devoured but stored. She continued to wave her
hand to keep the
AIongWithMe: wisps circulating in the cyclone. Taking a breath she exhaled
more wisps until the soul began to piece itsself together into a full aura in
the middle of the cyclone. The bright green wisps still swirled around it as
the mist of
AIongWithMe: light blue partially took shape into something perhaps huminoid
atleas from the shoulders up, everything else was just mist. It all just a
silhouette no features. "Well?" She whispered, keeping her hand swirling so
the soul didn't
AIongWithMe: escape.:::
Accepted Arcana: [ Sorry, had to go AFK for a minute. ]
AIongWithMe: -[ All good. ]-
Questions Asking: It had been a few days since he'd been to the Apothecary
and figured he might as well pay a visit. If anything just to see how Di was
doing and maybe hang with Cedric if the guy was around. Moving through the
front entrance Vic
Questions Asking: was dressed in a pair of dark grey slacks with a matching
vest, a white dress shirt underneath it with slightly higher than normal
collar and loosened red neck tie. A pair of black dress boots with a rugged
sole to them and a Tag
Questions Asking: Heuer watch on his left wrist finished it all off as he
brought that hand up to the back of his neck, rubbing it some while he walked
further into the Apothecary. Heading into the bar side, Hazels took a quick
look around for
Questions Asking: whoever was in at the moment before he went on behind the
bar to fix himself a Cape Cod.[e]
Accepted Arcana: "To be honest, I haven't ever seen anything like this
before, so I'm going to have to follow your lead exclusively, haha." Smiling
through it, he watched on intrigued, though as he stared at the glowing
whisps his eyes squinted a
Accepted Arcana: bit and so he brought his goggles back down to help filter
the light. "Still, there's... something. It's not quite a sound, really...
more a feeling. Like if you shuffle over carpet and grab a doorknob. It
sort has that
Accepted Arcana: sensation..." Leaning in, he looked at the green whisps,
watching them swirl before glancing up at Gabriella from the lowered
position. "Where did you get it?"
AIongWithMe: Gabriella watched the soul trapped in the cyclone. Licking her
lips as she kept it in place, her eyes finally waning from the cloudy white
and into a solid black. No whites, hues, or pupils just solid black orbs. She
looked up to
AIongWithMe: him slowly as he spoke so not to be rude. Thinking, "You feel
it, like an electric pull?" She reaised a brow. The green wisps circled the
light blue soul as it tried to get out a couple times but couldn't. She
rolled her shoulders
AIongWithMe: and looked into his eyes a moment. "...From...someone ... that
is now... no longer in the realm of the living..." She killed someone by
devouring their soul Xun, come on!:::
Str33t Revenge: What a god awful shit storm that was. Instead of filling out
paperwork why the idiot squad had thought to storm the building early
resulting in three cops wounded and every criminal but two (who escaped)
bleeding from extra holes in
Str33t Revenge: their persons, Helena found herself here needing the comfort
of her sister and a good whiskey. She wasn't picky on the order. Hell, she'd
see out more adult company but that might be seeming a bit needy. She drew
the hair pins holdi
Str33t Revenge: ng the thick mass in place from her scalp then ran her
fingers through her hair. Still wearing those high heels and mini pinstriped
skirt, Helena walked across the main floor with and idle wave to anyone who
looked. Her personal twi
Str33t Revenge: ns were hidden more than before behind an extra button.
Personally she didn't want to be mistaken for some naughty teacher otherwise
that would lead to her filing an incident report involving her sidearm and
some schmuck's new breat
Str33t Revenge: hing hole. -d-
Accepted Arcana: "Sort of like magentism, yes!" He nodded, stroking at his
jawline softly. The closer he got to it, certainly the stronger the pull.
But he knew better than to touch something like this, that was how things
managed to explode
Accepted Arcana: around him, andin this case it could cost both of them
dearly. Her hesitant explanation told him everything, and with a raise of
his brow, he looked back to the soul. "Oh, I see... hm. Well, that's...
a... hm..." He trailed off,
Accepted Arcana: unsure of what else to say. "Where do you store them until
you've eaten?"
Questions Asking: Having rolled up one sleeve, Vic was in the just finishing
up rolling the other up to his elbow. Reaching over, he would pick up the
Cape Cod and take a sip as he was about to move from behind the bar up until
he saw 1/2 of the
AIongWithMe: She watched him getting closer. Seeing him raise a brow and his
hesitant response to her explination. "I told you I had a dark soul." She
informed him, "But they were not an innocent." She kept the soul out as it
drained her energy
Questions Asking: Trouble Twins walking in. Finishing his sip he would put
the glass down, eyeing Helena and taking note of her current look. Both
attire-wise and overall. "You look like you need a stiff drink." Picking up
another Tumbler, he
AIongWithMe: to use magic, she rolled her shoulders again. "I don't really
know. My body keeps them whole until it needs the energy. If I take too much
of certain chi I can get high or even die." She watched him, she could almost
sense his want
AIongWithMe: to touch it. "I could feed you some." A man with no soul being
fed soul essense....he'd probably get high as balls the poor guy. Depending
on how fast his body would burn it off.:::
Questions Asking: would sit it on the bar. "And maybe punching someone in
the mouth." He would step back some to grab a bottle. "What are you
drinking?"[e]
Accepted Arcana: "I know what that's like. I've had that problem myself.
People tend to think I'm some kind of junkie." He smirked as he straightened
up a bit and shook his head. "No, it's alright. If I have to go through
another disjointing so
Accepted Arcana: quickly after the last one I'm going to be very cranky,
haha." Hooking his thumbs into his pockets again, he looked to Gabriella and
her soul food for the moment, still smiling pleasantly. "Well, I should
probably go find a place
Accepted Arcana: to lay down camp again. I promise not to fully disappear
tonight."
Str33t Revenge: Carefully, Helena perched on a stool. Folding her hands
before her, she steepled her forefingers beneath her chin eyeing Vic.
"Volunteering?" Those hands fell one on top the other. "Jack straight." She
crossed one leg over the other
AIongWithMe: Gabriella nodded, "Very well." She then inhaled deeply, taking
in the soul a lot faster than she was able to pour it out. Her eyes glew that
light blue as the wisps danced in her black orbs before waning down. She
shuddered and
AIongWithMe: purred deeply. "Mmm. So good." She whispered. Then when he
mentioned he needed to go find a new place to stay she smiled, "Promises are
meant to be broken. But, I do hope to see you around again sometime. If you
ever need a soul to
Str33t Revenge: . Her head drifted over her shoulder eyeing the place for a
moment before turning back to Vic. Fingernails idly tapped on the scarred
surface. Brown orbs watched the man work. "Think you missed your calling,
Sage." -d-
AIongWithMe: munch on and can't hunt yourself, now you know who you can get
ahold of.":::
Questions Asking: "I might be." He would give The Huntress a lopsided grin
at that as he picked the bottle of Jack from the counter and poured her some
before sliding the glass over and replacing the bottle. Picking up his glass
and leaning against
Questions Asking: the counter, he would take a drink while looking over at
her. "Missed my calling? Nah. My calling seems to change by the day.
Today's calling was interviewing Penn and Teller, which was actually pretty
fun. Those are some
Questions Asking: damn cool guys, we'd kinda hung out and just talked
science what not for a little while after the interview." A look ahead and
he would smirk a little. "Tomorrow I get to interview Tiffany... yay." He
sounded so enthused but hey
Questions Asking: , like Diana had said to him a time or two. A gig is a
gig. "So how was your day?"[e]
Accepted Arcana: "Haha, that I do. I'll see you again soon Gabrielle, I'm
certain. And if you ever have a need for more of those potions, please don't
hesitate to ask. I can make a few of them a day, and you can always drink
more than one if you
Accepted Arcana: are in a serious need." Smiling just as brightly, he gave
her a little wave as the glowing purple shoes started carrying him off into
the tree line, looking for a good place to set up a proper campsite.
Str33t Revenge: The minute her drink was placed before her, Hel drew the
glass closer. The amber liquid rose to her lips for a taste which she savored
before lowering the glass. The tips of her fingers drew across the bar for
one of those cocktail
AIongWithMe: Gabriella smiled, "Will do Xun, stay safe out there." She
winked and then waved moving towards the fields. Walking off into nothingness
as she disappeared into the void.:::
Str33t Revenge: napkins that she placed beneath her drink. She listened
while he spoke of his interviews all the while trying to calm her annoyance.
Fingers idly picked at the paper napkin then stilled when he asked her a
question. "Well, it could
Str33t Revenge: be Justin Bieber. So that's the silver lining for you. As
for my day, I can't comment on an on-going...yadda yadda yadda." Who was she
kidding. Of course she would. "Ambitious ATF agent sent in his team before we
connected the money
Str33t Revenge: to the bad guys. Three officers wounded. Bad guys dead. One
took off with the weapons and now I have to file reports on reports." She
paused a moment. Her head tilted in thought. Ruby red lips pursing in
annoyance. "Why is interview
Str33t Revenge: ing Tiffany so bad?" A star was a star right? Unless they
were a diva in which case, a root canal would be preferable. -d-
Questions Asking: "Beiber would go missing and I would probably have to go
into deep cover." He chuckled some to that. Listening to her explain what
all happened today, he just shook his head some. "Something i've always
found funny.. most of the
Questions Asking: agents in all of these specialized places... Ice, ATF,
FBI... few of them are former cops. They're all Lawyers or just random
people who happened to pass their requirements. And it shows." He would
take a drink before continuing
Questions Asking: on. "And what you just told me is proof of that. Like
that ATF Agent who shot himself in the foot not too long ago... or the FBI
mis-profiling that Sniper and a slew of other incidents. One of my favorites
was the one in North
Questions Asking: Carolina." He would grab the bottle of Jack and sit it on
the counter, moving around to the other side and sitting next to her.[e]
Str33t Revenge: The femme chuckled. Bringing the drink to her lips, she
smirked around the edge. "I'd help you bury the body and hide the evidence."
Adding a wink, she took another drink polishing the rest of it. Hel reached
for the bottle adding a
Str33t Revenge: small salute with the neck in his direction to indicate she
agreed wholeheartedly with his assessment. Pouring a refill, she nodded.
"Although you have to admit, there is one gung ho person in every group. Do
you know how messed up
Str33t Revenge: that case in New York got over the serial rapist because
some gringo wanted to be the first to solve it?" After he sat down, Helena
perched her foot on the side rung of his stool. Her other shimmied in mid air
from when she had
Str33t Revenge: crossed her legs earlier. A tug given to the hem hiding the
piece she was still carrying. "I remember that one. What a mess. But alas, we
peons have to deal with them or they get into a pissing contest that never
ends well for the
Str33t Revenge: victims." Which, on top of the court system was why she and
Di did what they did. -d-
Questions Asking: He would chuckle to her saying she'd help. "I think it'd
be a fun time. Oh and as for Tiffany.. not too bad. But it's just gonna be
like one of those.. VH1 Where are they now type deals. Only it'll be with
someone who had a big
Questions Asking: hit but... wasn't that big. I mean it's not like i'm
interviewing Flock of Seagulls or someone who's songs still regular play on
the radio more often than not." Picking up the bottle after downing the rest
of the cape cod, he
Questions Asking: would now fill it with Jack. "Just going to be lackluster
I think. I'll be going.. hey there. So you've been singing the same song
every night for the past several years in this Casino that was your one hit
from the 80's. What
Questions Asking: have you been up to since you were relevant?" He paused
then. "Obviously standing in a Casino every night singing the same song that
was her one hit from the 80's." And down the amber liquid went. A shake of
his head was given\
Questions Asking: afterward and he would look to her. "There's always that
one person in the group." He shook his head some. "And sometimes it's the
whole group."[e]
Str33t Revenge: Picturing how that interview would go drew her tiers into a
grin. Oh yeah. She could just see that. "So basically, you'll need me to be
ready to step in, cuff you for public disturbance, and make the paperwork
...poof...disappear."
Str33t Revenge: This drink she nursed instead of down the first one as
quickly as she did. With a small sip, she felt the whiskey work through her
tense muscles and tired brain. "I hope you have more questions planned than
that otherwise, you're go
Str33t Revenge: ing to have a rough exit, mijo." And a nod toward his last
comment. It was true. She couldn't argue. From the corner of her eyes, she
gave him the slow once over. "The vest suits you. Shows off your figure. Of
course nothing shows
Str33t Revenge: off your figure." A wink followed. Idly her thumb brushed
along her napkin continuing to shred it to tiny bits. "How did you get stuck
with Tiffany and not one of the bigger names?" -d-
Questions Asking: "I just might." He would grin while a drink was taken. He
too would slow down for now the alcohol while they sat and talked. "Oh yeah,
I have more questions planned for her." He was The Question afterall. "Just
given some
Questions Asking: legwork I did on her i'm not expecting anything too
exciting. Though you never know, she might admit to being the leader of an
underground Death Match ring or something." Vic chuckled and looked over
himself when she mentioned his
Questions Asking: choice of attire tonight. Canting his head slightly, a
brow quirked a little. "Detective Del Rio.. are you... flirting with me?"
This was asked with a serious tone behind it but there were obvious hints as
well that he was
Questions Asking: jesting as well. Leaning an elbow against the bar, he
would swish the contents of the tumbler around some in his other hand.
"Doing a piece on that Casino, which happens to be the one she's featured in.
So naturally, I had to do
Questions Asking: a side piece on her as well."[e]
Str33t Revenge: "Hope so. Di and I will have the car ready for your getaway.
Well I will. She'll be filming cause you getting tossed out is youtube gold."
Slipping from the stool, she adjusted that skirt and walked around the bar.
Heading to the
Str33t Revenge: kitchen, Hel searched for pretzels and a bowl needing
something salty while listening to Vic. Finding her snack, she walked the
bowl out munching on a salty knot as she did so. Setting the bowl down, she
made the long journey around
Str33t Revenge: the bar. Long because she wore those damn high heels.
Perhaps she'd 'borrow' something from Di. Emphasis on borrow. It all depended
on if her sister got anything new and cute lately. "Hey you never know. Or
might be part of some cul
Str33t Revenge: t that thinks aliens will rescue them at the end of the
world. Oh wait, there is a religion around that already. Huh." This time when
she sat, she stretched those stocking legs out before her resting both high
heeled clad feet on th
Str33t Revenge: e lower rung of his stool. As serious as possible, Helena
shook her head. "No. I'm making crude sexists comments on how I want to see
you naked. If I was flirting, I'd say I like your eyes while keeping my own
above your neck. That
Str33t Revenge: would be me respecting you as a gentleman." Hey, she could
flip that shit too. Didn't help being surrounded by men so she heard the lame
comments all day. "Which Casino was it again?" -d-
Accepted Arcana: [ Alright guys, heading out myself here shortly. Have some
specific things that I have to do tonight. ]
Questions Asking: (Be safe dude)
Accepted Arcana: [ Safety third. ]
Questions Asking: "I'll need to be quick about it, then." Watching as she
got up to get a snack, he would take sip from the tumbler, letting the amber
liquid go down his throat as he thought on tomorrow's events. When she came
back a chuckle left
Questions Asking: him. "The Cult of Tom Cruise." When Helena turned and
made the comment she made, he would look over to her and just grin a little.
"Touche'." Standing from his stool, he would down the rest of his drink and
put the glass up
Questions Asking: after cleaning it, then take a the bottle by the neck.
Stepping beside her, he would take Helena by the hand and lead her.. out of
the Apothecary.[e]
Str33t Revenge: Ah The Cult of Tom Cruise. never ending source of amusement.
Hand taken, Hel blinked then hurried to match his longer stride. No easy feat
in heels. Although she did pause a moment before exiting to run back and grab
the bottle. She
Str33t Revenge: 'd swing by and pay for it. Then slipped her hand back in
his to exit. -d-
Deadwood Graves: Cedric was sitting on the couch in the bar area reading a
book titled Matilda. It was some children's book from planet Earth that he
found to be quite entertaining. He had a small smile on his face as he turned
the page, quietly
Deadwood Graves: observing the illustrations. Setting an arm behind his head
and bringing the book up to his face his blue eyes would scan over the text
as he was absorbed into the story. Today he was wearing an outfit he pretty
much always wore;
Deadwood Graves: plain black short-sleeved button up that was tucked into
black slacks with a leather belt to help hold them up and some black leather
shoes.
Xv Iris vX: ::the night had turned cold while she'd been out in the city,

course, this man seemed to work here, and so she stepped forward, clearing
her throat lightly, her voice quiet:: Excuse me, m'lord? <D

Deadwood Graves: something that... he really had not been addressed by since

it. He blinked as he looked at the tall woman before bowing his head lightly.
"M'lady. I
Deadwood Graves: apologize about earlier. I had something I needed to tend
to. My names is Cedric Graves. And whom might you be?" His eyes took a moment
to look over her clothing. From the impression of it, she was definitely from
elsewhere not on
Deadwood Graves: Earth, as most people he came to meet these days seemed to
be. After taking note of her clothing, he simply smiled before eyes looked
over to Vix. Now would probably be a good time to head to the bar's service
side and get to work.

Xv Iris vX: put a stoic, stony face on, for that was how her people were.

she?" He took a moment to scan the area behind the bar's counter. It didn't
seem like there was anything around here. "Hm... Perhaps it's in the storage
room. Excuse me while
Deadwood Graves: I go and have a look..." He turned himself around to face
the storage's room's door before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a
set of keys. Once the right one was in hand, he'd unlock the door and head
inside. Boxes and boxes
Xv Iris vX: ( brb
Deadwood Graves: and crates upon crates. It took a while before he spotted a
package that his intuition was telling him was the right one. He'd snag it up
before heading back to the bar area, being sure to lock it up before turning
himself around to
Deadwood Graves: face the tall woman. "This seems to be it. Iris, is it?" He
pointed to the name scribbled on the package before handing it over to her.
Xv Iris vX: ::Iris looked within the offered package. Potions, herbs, and
oils, as well as nourishing foods. Bread and meat, and a few bottles of
hearty, dark ale. The tall northern woman gave Cedric an approving smile,
those bright blue
Xv Iris vX: eyes meeting his own for just a moment, studying him. So
intent, sparkling like sapphires. Large, calloused hands reached out to take
the the offered box. For the first time, he could see the woman begin to
relax. The hard edge in
Xv Iris vX: her shoulders faded, and her lips curled up into the tiniest
smile:: Thank you. My daughter...she will be much improved. <D
Deadwood Graves: A small smile couldn't help but tug at the corners of his
lips as he saw the woman finally release tension and give her own smile. He
furrowed his brows some as she mentioned her daughter. "So she's fallen ill?"
He tilted his head t
Vixxx da Pixxx: :and she mirrored da smilies as the rippled from da origin:
Deadwood Graves: to the side before crossing his arms and leaning back
against the counter, eyes peering at the woman as he tried to think of where
she might of journeyed off from.
Xv Iris vX: ::she nodded, and dropped her eyes, looking back and away from
him for a few moments, for the mention of Fury's illness was quite
heartbreaking. She had only just learned of the girl's affliction, and by
now, it was nearly too
Xv Iris vX: late, for the girl had one foot in the grave. She took a deep
breath, and cast those sad eyes back toward him. For although she was more
relaxed now, it also meant that her emotions were closer to her sleeve,a
rather unusual thing
Xv Iris vX: for the woman. She nodded, and looked back away, seeking
solace in the box of potions:: Fury. It...it is complicated. But...she is
quite ill. <d
Deadwood Graves: His eyebrows twisted upward to give that sympathetic look
before slowly nodding his head. "I see... Well, that package should prove
very useful. And if not, then I have plenty of potions to spare that should
work wonders. And if for
Deadwood Graves: whatever reasons those don't work either, then I can always
heal her myself, with my own powers. I'm a healer, afterall. I was raised to
be since childhood so... that offer is always open for you, m'lady." He gave
her a small
Deadwood Graves: hopeful smile. "Either way, I'm sure she will make it to
see another day - plenty of days, actually." His smile broadened before his
eyes looked over at the the glass cups and mugs. "Care for a drink? We've got
plenty of ale and
Deadwood Graves: liquor. Or tea, if you prefer tea."
Xv Iris vX: ::a healer? Those bright eyes lifted, and she turned her
attention to him, studying him intently. At first, she had dismissed him as
just a clerk, but now she looked at him entirely differently. His garments
and manners were
Xv Iris vX: foreign, but if she was lucky, he could, indeed, help her.
And, he had liquor, to boot. After spending the entire day away from home,
attending to business matters in the city, a drink was welcome. Her lips
curled up into a bit of
Xv Iris vX: a dry smile:: Wouldn't suppose you have dwarven ale. It's a
long story, best shared over a cold mug. <d
Deadwood Graves: When he first came to Wolf Moon, he would usually be found
wearing a mage's cloak. But as time went on, his friends here introduced him
to modern ways and he caught on quickly. Most would strike him to be an
ordinary fellow. But
Deadwood Graves: that was far from the truth. He furrowed brows and looked
off to the side as he pursed his lips at an angle. "Erm... I can't say we
do?" He chuckled some as the request for such ale was definitely a first.
"Sorry, m'lady. I can
Deadwood Graves: provide you with our finest dark ale though - my favourite
one, as a matter of fact. Instead of the glass pints he would reach over and
grab a wooden tankard for nostalgia's sake. Filling it up with the darkest
ale they had on tap
Deadwood Graves: he'd set it before her, a bright grin on his face as his
blue eyes looked at Iris. "There you are, Lady Iris. I may have to join you,
as some ale sounds quite delightful for me now." He served himself up one as
well before coming
Deadwood Graves: around the bar's counter and seating himself at a stool
next to the 6 feet woman. "Dwarven ale, mm?" he'd inquire before taking a
drink of that robust liquid.
Xv Iris vX: ::she had seen glass, but it was expensive, fragile, and the
glass that was found back in Rhyindale was used for nobles. She didn't care
for it. And the wooden tankard was accepted with a soft smile. She took the
ale, then
Deadwood Graves: *matter of fact."
Xv Iris vX: settled back down against the offered chair, stretching long
legs out in front of her. She took a long drink from her ale, downing half of
it in a single swallow, then setting it down with a bit of a thud.
Certainly, rough around
Xv Iris vX: the edges, this one. Hardly much of a lady. She smirked and
turned her eyes back toward him:: Never heard of it. Doesn't surprise me, in
these lands. Everything is strange here. <d
Deadwood Graves: He'd quirk up a brow as he took notice of her burly
mannerisms. And the way she drank that ale... Cedric loved ale, but the woman
could probably have him beat in an ale drinking contest anyday. He couldn't
help but give a light
Deadwood Graves: chuckle to himself before drinking some more of that ale in
his hands. The wooden tankard definitely added flavour to the beverage. He
nodded his head as he couldn't agree with her more on her comment on how
everything in this part
Deadwood Graves: of the world. "My thoughts exactly. It definitely takes
some getting used to. I've been around here for about a month of so and I'm
still learning something everyday." He wrapped both hands around the tankard
as his eyes kept on
Deadwood Graves: Iris. "Whereabouts you from?"
Deadwood Graves: *part of the world was strange
Deadwood Graves: *or so
Xv Iris vX: ::She drank down the second half of her ale, and set it down
against the table with a bit of a thud once more. Those bright blue eyes
turned back toward him:: Rhyindale. It is through a mage's portal, and
half a day's travel.
Xv Iris vX: ::she cast those soft blue eyes back toward him:: the lady,
Dove, she said that there are accomodations. A tavern? <d
Deadwood Graves: "Rhyindale..." he quietly repeated it to himself as his
eyes fell back onto his dark liquid. "That sounds familiar. I think I saw a
sign for that somewhere while wandering but I can't say I've ever been." He
shrugged his shoulder
Deadwood Graves: ( Sorry. AOL shat on me. )
Xv Iris vX: ( np
Xv Iris vX: ( I think it's a sign. I should pause
Deadwood Graves: some before seeing how she practically inhaled her ale.
"Em, care for another?" He tilted his head to the side as his eyes just
stared at the empty tankard. "And yes, we have rooms for guests. You are more
than welcome to one."
Deadwood Graves: He reached into his pocket before pausing. "Would you like
one for the night?"
Xv Iris vX: ::well, where she'd been raised, the ale was healthier and
safer than water. Those bright blue eyes turned bac:k to him, and she
nodded:: Aye. I had thought that I would return tonight...but having met
you..I wish to speak to you
Xv Iris vX: further, about Fury. Perhaps...for the right amount of coin,
I can convince you to come to see her. Will you be around in the morning?
<d
Deadwood Graves: He nodded his head and pulled out the keyring that held
several keys before grabbing one that he knew was not occupied and handing it
over to her. "Certainly, m'lady." He shook his head. "Please, no coins. I was
not taught to heal
Deadwood Graves: for the purpose of riches. It's all in the favour of the
greater good." He finished up his ale before standing up off his stool. "I
won't be here in the morning, but I should be around sometime around the
evening. My room is room
Deadwood Graves: number 12. If I'm not down here than I'll most likely be in
there."
Xv Iris vX: ::She rose up to her feet, with a bit of a smirk on her lips,
as she gathered up her belongings:: Room 12. I'm sure you invite all the
ladies there. ::chuckling a bit, she picked up the box of medicines, which
made her attention
Xv Iris vX: return to Fury. She should not be off making merry, while her
daughter languished. Her somber expression returned:: I will wait for you to
return. We will speak more of her condition then. And, please...just call
me Iris. I'm
Xv Iris vX: hardly much of a Lady. <d
Deadwood Graves: His brows twisted up as his expression fell into slight
confusion from the remark. "Em... Well, I don't discriminate, so not just the
ladies." It flew right over his head, as all comments like that seemed to do.
"Iris it is then."
Deadwood Graves: He smiled before giving a bow of the head. "Right. Rest
well, m'la--... Iris. Until then." He offered a small smile before reaching
over and grabbing the tankards, making way around the bar's counter and
giving them a good wash
Deadwood Graves: before hanging them to dry and walking over to the coffee
table; picking up the book he was reading earlier. With the book in hand he'd
make way for the stairs to head on up to his room.
Xv Iris vX: ::the box was carried in strong, heavily muscled arms, and
witout another word, she stepped up the stairs to follow toward the guest
room she'd been assigned. But, before she ducked into the room, one last
look around her
Xv Iris vX: surroundings, then, entered the chamber;:
