OnlineHost: Deadwood Graves has entered the room.
Evelyn x Qualls: There was no tumbling down the stairs for Evelyn this fine
evening. In fact she was already down stairs behind the bar swirling a straw
in an amber colored drink. Her attire was a bit more presentable for service,
a long pair of bla
Evelyn x Qualls: ck pants that were a bit wide at the ankles - flaire, and a
beige colored button up blouse with the sleeves rolled up and buttoned above
the elbows, snug but it fit. The first two buttons were left unsnapped, the
collar curled down
Evelyn x Qualls: and her hair left to hang in ringlets that were spritzed to
keep the frizz at bay. A small head band was pushed down atop her head with
CZ sparkling from it like some flat tiara. She leaned against the bar, her
elbows propped up on
Evelyn x Qualls: its surface as her fingers contined to swirl that straw
around slowly. Her drink otherwise untouched. -d-
Deadwood Graves: A heavy sigh could be heard coming from the staircase as
Cedric's feet slowly made way down each step. He had a black leather bound
book in hand that was simply titled Necromancy. It was one that he had
already read several times
Deadwood Graves: over, but he had found that he still always learned
something new from it each time. His face was a little paler than usual as
his lips pressed into a fine line and his eyebrows furrowed. Their were bags
under his eyes, making it
Deadwood Graves: apparent that he didn't get a very good night's sleep last
night - if any at all. He as silent as he made way into the bar and crossed
through it to sit himself down on the couch; eyes looking outward to the
floor but really looking
Deadwood Graves: into to his own thoughts. He closed his eyes for a bit,
inhaled deeply and let it exhale out through his nostrils. His whole demeanor
was tense. Once his eyes opened back up he opened up the book and started at
page one... The book
Deadwood Graves: was upside down... He'd flip it upright, an eyebrow
twitching in irritation towards the trivial mistake. He'd start to read the
text in his mind, finding it incredibly hard to focus. Reading the first
sentence over and over again in
Deadwood Graves: his mind but still not being able to grasp it. And once it
finally did, he moved on down the paragraph. Wait. He wasn't paying any
attention to what he just read. What did he just read? A sigh of frustration
came out before he flung
Deadwood Graves: the book onto the coffee table in front of him and clenched
his fist.
Evelyn x Qualls: She inclined her attention, more or less her eyes glanced
toward the door as soft shuffling footfalls were heard. Her cheek rested
against her knuckles as her elbows remained propped on the bar top. Green's
watched him emerge the do
Evelyn x Qualls: orway. Brows lifted in acknowledging whom had came through
and she couldn't help but note the way he carried himself and the hollowed
features of his face. She lifted her head, watching him closer as he crossed
through to the sofa a
Evelyn x Qualls: nd sunk into it. The far away stare was something she had
known all too well a week ago. Her hands pressed flat against the bar top,
she couldn't pull her eyes away from him as he brought the book to open and
begin to read, only to
Evelyn x Qualls: turn it around and attempt the same task again. She sucked
in her bottom lip, biting it gently as she saw his frustration peak and the
book landed on the table giving Evelyn a small jump from the sudden manuever.
Swallowing thickly
Evelyn x Qualls: she then cleared her throat. "Is it a tea type of night, or
an alcohol one?" Was her simple inquiry from the bar. -d-
Deadwood Graves: "Neither," he mumbled as his eyes just kept to the book.
Another deep inhale and long exhale as he leaned forward some and set his
elbows onto this thighs; one hand holding the other as he rested his chin on
his knuckles. One leg
Deadwood Graves: started to restlessly shake up and down before he leaned
back and crossed his arms into a new position. It's like he just couldn't get
comfortable. Another heavy sigh as he shook his head some and ran his fingers
through his hair.
Deadwood Graves: "Why is it so bloody fucking hot in here?" The temperature
was actually quite moderate. But it felt like his veins were pumping flames.
Evelyn x Qualls: She stood up straighter, her hands still laying on the bar
top lengthing her arms. He was a bit of distance from her and the bar so his
mumbling wasn't exactly understood. She took her own glass and set it to rest
on the back counte
Evelyn x Qualls: r and made her way around the bar to the area he was. She
lowered on the arm of the sofa as not to disturb the cushions around him. Her
hands rested on her thighs, one leg pulled up and bent sideways so that her
other leg could cros
Evelyn x Qualls: s over her calf and sit comfortably at the angle of the arm
of the sofa. "It feels fine to me in here. Are you coming down with
something?" Does he get sick? Ever? "I didn't hear you quite well about the
drink, or maybe some ice wat
Evelyn x Qualls: er if you feel warm?" She shrugged lightly, she was but
still a teenager - she didn't know how to take care of a person. -d-
Deadwood Graves: "No. I said I don't want anything." He shook his head side
to side before he finally looked at Evelyn. "Am I coming down with something?
Maybe. I don't know. I feel... very off today. I can't think straight. I
haven't eaten at all
OnlineHost: a doves flight has entered the room.
Deadwood Graves: today and yet I'm still not hungry. I can't even read a
bloody book with my mind going back to that bloody ki--" he cut himself off
before finishing that sentence. "Killing... spell..." He took in another
breath, eyes shifting off
Deadwood Graves: towards Evelyn as his face felt hot even from almost
mentioning it. "Fuck..."
Deadwood Graves: *without my mind
Deadwood Graves: *shifting away (oh god dude bare with me here I'm knackered
xD)
a doves flight: (( Go look at the link! )
Deadwood Graves: ( Great job! )
Evelyn x Qualls: Those greens met his own eyes as he looked toward her, the
shadows under his eyes noted and the palor of his features taken in. Her own
face softened and she tilted her head just slightly to the side. She listened
to him all the way
Evelyn x Qualls: through till he ended with an explicit. She winced
slightly, it wasn't as if she hadn't used an occasional word herself but it
still had that effect when heard from anothers mouth. She pressed her lips
together, a thin line as he ha
Evelyn x Qualls: d done earlier and then parted them as she took a deep
breath - letting it out slowly. "Killing spell?" She wasn't sure what exactly
upset her more, that he hadn't eatten the entire day - or that he may have
done something potential
Evelyn x Qualls: ly damaging with ritual.
Evelyn x Qualls: -d-
OnlineHost: Ravaging Fangs has entered the room.
Deadwood Graves: It wasn't really like Cedric to use such offensive words,
but this feeling he couldn't understand inside of him had been driving him
mad all day. And then Evelyn had to question his lie. He was a horrible liar.
He took a long pause
OnlineHost: Ravaging Fangs has left the room.
Deadwood Graves: as his eyes shifted around the room, trying to construct
something in his mind. "It's, em... It's just. It's this... thing. It's...
nothing. It's nothing. Nothing at all." He shook his own head side to side
before running his
Deadwood Graves: fingers through his disheveled hair. "Nothing, nothing,
nothing," he muttered under his breath, as if trying to convince himself it
really was nothing.
Evelyn x Qualls: Arms drew up to cross beneath her chest and her vision
narrowed slightly. If he was going to devise a lie, at least make it one that
wouldn't ruffle her feathers - so to speak. She remained there, motionless
after the movement of he
Evelyn x Qualls: r arms, listening to him go on and on about how it was
nothing - nothing at all. "Apparently it is something, if it has you this
wound up and sulking apperance. Who was the spell for?" Someone they knew,
she knew? Another group? Wer
Evelyn x Qualls: e they at war of some kind? It seemed rather peaceful to
her, but she was oblivious to pretty much everything in her human state. She
chewed the side of her bottom lip, watching his - shifty eyes. She wasn't
going to give in. -d-
Deadwood Graves: "It was for me. It was given to me. And now I don't know
what to do with it..." Now he was only telling half-lies. "I've never had it
before. I almost did one time at the Mage's Academy when I was
Deadwood Graves: just a teenager. But before the girl could kiss me I used a
stunning spell on her and ran away." He set his hand on his forehead as he
realized he just spilled the beans. He really was a terrible liar. "Shit. I
meant." He let out
Deadwood Graves: yet another sigh as he brought his hand up to bring his
index finger and thumb onto his temples. "Bollocks..."
Deadwood Graves: ( Uuh. Brought his hand up and then started to rub at his
temples is what I was trying to get at with that post. |D; )
Evelyn x Qualls: Well she was spirling more and more into a world of
confusion. He did say killing spell right? How did that have anything to do
with almost being kissed by a girl? Her hands fell back down to her lap. "I.
Have not a clue. What all t
Evelyn x Qualls: hat ment." She shook her head, eyes glanced away toward one
of the shelves lining the wall. His secret, whatever it was, was still safe
as it seemed. She was more confounded than before. She lifted a single
finger, her index as if t

Evelyn x Qualls: rying to figure out on her own and peice
together...but..."What does a killing spell have to do with ...a girl trying
to kiss you?" Her head tilted again to the side, brows creased in confusion
and those greens fell back upon him. -

Without IvIercy: Soon enough that petite Asian was coming back through the
door of the Apothecary. Today she wore a pair of black yoga pants and a white
t-shirt, that long red tail swaying behind her with its spade swishing. Feet
covered in Chuck

seat, leaning against the edge of the bar and tilting that head a bit. -d

Evelyn x Qualls: (wb)
Evelyn x Qualls: (There is a short lag in here.)
Deadwood Graves: Did she really not catch him in his lie? He just gave her a
stare before raising up a brow and tilting his head to the side. Perhaps he
could just add onto it then to try and make it more sensible and believable.
"Er. I don't know."
Without IvIercy: [ty]
Deadwood Graves: He was already at a great start. "You know. I um... Just...
the same kind of situation, I guess." He shrugged. "Killing spell. Kissing
spell. I was kissed and now -- I mean. I was almost kissed and now I feel
like... I need to..."
Deadwood Graves: He stopped himself there, letting out a sigh before shaking
his head. "I don't bloody know. But they very well have things to do with
eachother." He looked over towards the familar petite Asian. "Look. A
customer. You should see if
Deadwood Graves: she wants anything to drink." Best if he just diverted the
whole conversation entirely.
Evelyn x Qualls: That's right. She did not. She met his eyes as he stared at
her, one brow lifting as if still wanting an answer. But his was sketchy at
best. She sighed and rolled her eyes as teenagers tend to do. "You are a
confusing one, Cedric."
Evelyn x Qualls: The bell to the door jingled as the woman entered, greens
lifting to meet her trek across to the bar before leveling those eyes upon
Cedric once more when he used the tactic to change the subject and the
atmosphere. "We aren't done
Evelyn x Qualls: here." She chided softly before standing. She still wanted
to know what trouble he was in and No she still was too dense to make sense
that he was tangled in a lie with half truths that she should have caught.
She walked across the
Evelyn x Qualls: room and slipped behind the bar to the service side, coming
to stand across from the woman with the red tail she had noted - these things
were starting to be come more common place and settling with her after Gabs'
display after the
Evelyn x Qualls: -almost wedding. "Welcome to the Wolf Moon. Would you like
something to drink?" -d-
Without IvIercy: Apparently she'd come in at the right time. Brows arched at
Cedric and Eve. "Oh don't mind me I'm highly entertained as is with what I
walked in on." Chuckling she'd lean more into the counter top and just watch.
Looking over to Eve
Without IvIercy: she would offer a smile. "Kon'nichiwa. Milk please, with a
straw." Dip of that head before looking back to Cedric. "It seems I came in
on you wanting to either kiss or kill someone." -d
Evelyn x Qualls: "Unless someone did kiss him and now he wants to kill them?
Heh." She pushed away from the bar, at least the request she could understand
- the other word was over her head. Maybe she should have paid more attention
in foreign langu
Evelyn x Qualls: ge class and less attention to the jocks that seemed to
breeze through their studies. She grabbed a glass, a tall one and half turned
back to the woman, "Would you like some ice in it?" -d-
Without IvIercy: "Oh I just came in on the end of it so I've no idea what he
wannts to do. No ice thank you." Chuckling still she leaned against the
counter and sighed softly. Tail flicking behind her slowly. -d
Deadwood Graves: Now that there was someone who wasn't as dense as as
Evelyn, he just completely dodged all questions on the matter period. "I
never served her the milk with ice before. Do you normally take your -- nope.
No she doesn't." He stood
Deadwood Graves: himself up from the couch and made way over to the bar,
sitting himself down at the barstool at the far end of it as by now there
should be label with Cedric's name on it pasted somewhere on that barstool.
"I'll just take some
Deadwood Graves: ale, afterall... I think I could use some of that now..."
His put an elbow on the bartop and rested his head against his hand as his
blue eyes just stared into the air.
Without IvIercy: When the milk was set down in front of her she'd reach to
take it. "Arigato...Thank you." Translated for her since the woman didn't
seem to know what she had said. Looking to Cedric she'd frown and tilt head a
bit. "So what's
Without IvIercy: happened? I'm fairly good at giving advice, granted not as
good as Mama-san but still." -d
Evelyn x Qualls: She set the glass down and pulled the door open to the
standing cooler. A gallon jug was pulled out, uncapped and tipped to the
glass to fill. Recapped and slid back into the cooler. She half turned again,
the glass brought with her
Evelyn x Qualls: and she set it down infront of her on the bar top. A straw
retrieved, the paper left on and set beside the glass. She plucked then a
large beer mug - clear and filled it from the ale tap - tilting the mug so
the foam wouldn't build
Evelyn x Qualls: up too much. "Should you be drinking on an empty stomach,
Cedric?" She inquired quietly, but continued to set the mug infront of him
anyway. She lingered there while they spoke - maybe she could make more sense
of him this time arou

Deadwood Graves: ( Alright I think I'm actually gonna have to tap out on RP
for tonight. My brain is like. Dead. )
Deadwood Graves: ( And I need to get going to bed soonish anyway )
Evelyn x Qualls: (sweet dreams!)
Deadwood Graves: ( I'll post Cedric's exit than head out of here. )
Without IvIercy: [There is drama happening in my life so Im going to have to
bow out as well.]
Evelyn x Qualls: (in that case, I have a pillow that's screaming my name
haha)

Deadwood Graves: ( Ehhhh w/e. I'm too lazy to even post the exit. )
a doves flight: ( I'm chatting up courage for phone sex. )
Evelyn x Qualls: (Lol That's alright.)

Evelyn x Qualls: (Hmmm?)
Evelyn x Qualls: (My lag is terrible.)
