Deadwood Graves: He flinched some as Valentine's voice boomed in his ears.
"I won't! I won't! I pr -- ... I won't." He gave a wide grin as he watched
her disappear upstairs before waving over at Roni. "Goodnight you." And then
walking back on over
Deadwood Graves: to the sword, he'd give it that curious gaze again.
Str33t Magic: "So in other words you're leaving." Di just stood there,
staring at him from over the rim of her glass while she took another sip.
The Street Magician remained silent for a good few moments before she finally
lowered the glass and
Str33t Magic: spoke. "Well, wherever you wind up heading to." Putting the
glass down afterward, watching as Xun started to mess with the box that had
her name labeled. Keeping her eyes on what Xun was doing, she spoke up
again. "CEDRIC, come
Str33t Magic: here for a moment."
Accepted Arcana: "...yeah?" He almost asked it, like he wasn't sure it was
the right answer, just the honest one. "I mean, you have Vic, and your
sister, and you've obviously settled in here so it's not like you need to
keep moving with--" He
Accepted Arcana: blinked, not that anyone could see it, and briefly looked
over to Cedric before continuing. "With me. I guess I just haven't found
what I'm looking for yet, haha..." It wasn't his typical friendly,
mirth-filled chuckle, but he
Deadwood Graves: His hand was reaching for it again before Diana's voice
echoed in his ears. "Wha?" he asked, prying his eyes away from the sword
before he mozied on over to Diana and Xun and casually sipped at his tea.
Accepted Arcana: tried nonetheless. "I didn't feel right slipping out
without something saying where I went. I mean, I know it's been a while
since we've caught each other, but that's not really the same thing."
Carefully, he slid the box towards
Accepted Arcana: her and grimaced a bit, trying to manage a smile. "It's
the returning talisman. I figured out how to project with it, and I left
instructions in there, not that you couldn't have figured it out, I just
didn't want to give you a
Accepted Arcana: puzzle in case it ended up being some sort of emergency
with it..."
Str33t Magic: When Cedric got there, she would move around to the otherside
of the bar and take his tea from him, sitting it on the counter. Di would
then place a hand to his chest and make him sit down in one of the stools and
she would
Str33t Magic: promptly sit in his lap. Reaching over, the tea was picked up
and handed back to him. Looking over to Xun now, she continued. "Anyways,
wherever you're heading to, take care of yourself." Watching as he slid the
box over,
Str33t Magic: she reach over and pick it up, looking at it while she bit her
lower tier. "Why are you leaving?" Those doe browns would lift, looking up
at him now, curiously.
Deadwood Graves: He was just about to take another sip from his tea before
Diana took it from him; his lips pursed and hands still up to his mouth as if
he were still holding the cup. Once he was seated, he could blink some as
Diana sat on his lap
Deadwood Graves: before continuing on with the tea drinking once it was
given back to him. His blue eyes looked over to Xun, raising up his brows as
he finished sipping. "You're leaving?"
Accepted Arcana: "As best I ever can, promise." It was a quick answer, with
a genuine and honest smile. He was about to step away when he caught the
second question and stopped, looking back to her as he thought for a second.
Cedric got a little
Accepted Arcana: bit of a nod as he cleared his throat again. "Have you
ever had the feeling that you're meant for something, you just don't know
what? I can't say that it's anything big or grand, just that there's
something I should be doing,
Accepted Arcana: like I forgot to do this really important term paper for
school, because I didn't even know it had been assigned, haha..." There was
a touch more amusement in his voice as he laughed with the joke this time.
Tilting his head down
Deadwood Graves: ( was just gonna say, ya hw lmao )
Accepted Arcana: for a moment, he rolled his shoulders once. "I knew Rice
Running wasn't what I should be doing with my life, and I tried agency work
and that was closer, but things didn't go quite right there either." Looking
up again, he gave a
Accepted Arcana: tilt of his head to the side with a light shrug. "I guess
I'm still trying to figure it out."
Str33t Magic: Looking over her shoulder at Cedric, she would give him a
knowing smirk and nudge him some before looking back to Xun. The only reason
she even called him over was to keep him from touching that sword. He had
enough going on as it
Str33t Magic: was and she didn't want him vaporizing himself or whatever
would happen if he touched that sword. Folding one leg over the other while
she listened to Xun explain why he was leaving. She would nod to him. "I
know the feeling..
Str33t Magic: after mom and dog were murdered and I thought Helena was too,
I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing." Besides getting revenge,
which was still her main agenda and with the mob showing up recently she
might get some more
Str33t Magic: leads. "Even after Hel and I got re-united, i'm still not
sure what i'm supposed to be doing.. I do feel it's something important
though." Like getting rid of the Syndicate. Blinking a couple of times, she
would look to him
Str33t Magic: again, then slipped off of Cedric's lap long enough to give
Xun a tight hug, wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly
before she finally let go and sat back in Cedric's lap.
Deadwood Graves: The mage really didn't need another curse in his life,
being that his hometown's curse was already one he had to deal with. He
watched Xun express his thoughts, giving a lopsided smile as he slowly nodded
his head in understanding.
Deadwood Graves: "I feel you on that one, mate," he nodded some more,
closing his eyes. As soon as he felt Diana's weight lift off his lap, he
would open his eyes and try to stand up. Too slow! Before he could even fully
attempt it, he was planted
Deadwood Graves: back down. He let out a small sigh, gripping onto his tea
cup so that none of it spilled out from the movement.
Accepted Arcana: Xun blushed so brightly he nearly turned black as she
hugged him so tight. Unsure of what to do with his arms at first, it took
him a second to wrap his arms around her and give her the sort of squeeze
that an archer's arms could
Str33t Magic: (Forgot that she kissed his cheek too)
Accepted Arcana: [ Getting there! ]
Str33t Magic: (I meant that I forgot to post it)
Accepted Arcana: [ ...what the fuck did I read that made me think that
already happened... ]
Accepted Arcana: manage; plenty of tension. When she sat back down, he
looked off to the side for all the good it could do him, hiding the dark gray
shade that his skin had taken on up around the bare shoulders, neck, and
cheek. It was a miracle
Accepted Arcana: that her little peck hadn't caused a capillary to burst.
Taking a deep, long breath, he ran his hands through the bright red hair and
cleared his throat again. "So... uh... taking care of self... check, haha."
Looking back to her
Accepted Arcana: again, thankful that the goggles made it easy not to make
direct eye contact. "And if you end up needing to reach me, talisman.
Totally works... very... very convenient. Uh... has a delay too, so there
shouldn't be any awkward
Accepted Arcana: catching me changing without warning..."
Iost beast: [Note to self.-- Xun...NEVER meets Pixie or he will have a
coronary]
Str33t Magic: "Xun, you better come back." There was another bite to her
lower lip, watching him. She really didn't want him to go. Given how her
life had gone, she'd lost alot of people and it was hard enough letting new
ones in as it was.
Str33t Magic: The two of them had traveled together for some time, and now
they were splitting off. It was going to be odd knowing that she couldn't
just walk outside to go talk to him anymore.
Str33t Magic: But she also knew that everyone had their own path to take.
Str33t Magic: (Forgot that line too)

Iost beast: [sorry sorry!]
Deadwood Graves: "Yeah, you know, there's always some nice rooms you can
give a try the next time you come around?" Cedric said, nodding some as he
took another drink of his pink tea.
Deadwood Graves: ( wut? )
Accepted Arcana: Nodding again, he smiled and stuck his hands into his
pockets, carefully adjusting the book hanging off of his hip as he did so.
"I know where to find you, at least. And you'll always be able to find me if
you need to." Stopping
Iost beast: [Pixie rolled off the back of the couch again]
Accepted Arcana: for a moment, he looked to Cedric and gave a shrug. "Yeah,
though I can't imagine a building like this would have reacted well to a
sudden explosion of Azure saturating the walls. If you think normal
buildings are bad with meth
Accepted Arcana: fumes..." Magic buildings on magical cocaine was implied
as he made the universal bad things sign with his hands. "Krbrkbwwwww"
Deadwood Graves: "All the more reason to stick around. Explosions," the mage
added. And who didn't like a cool explosion. Certainly the Wolf Moon Tower
could take it. He set his cup of tea down, peeking over at the sword in the
background behind Xun
Deadwood Graves: and Diana's shoulder.
Str33t Magic: Looking up and around some, she would grin a little. "I think
the tower can handle it, especially after seeing what it went through earlier
on here." Though she did have to wonder what a tweaked out tower would be
like. When
Str33t Magic: Cedric started to peer over towards the sword again, she would
look over her shoulder again and lift a hand, placing it against his chin
lightly and turning his head to face her. "What is with you and that sword?"
Accepted Arcana: With the subject changed for the moment, the gray look
remained for a moment as he leaned in to return her kiss to the cheek before
slipping back and away. "Take care, Di, I'll try to visit or send word if I
end up someplace
Accepted Arcana: steady!" Turning quickly he shuffled himself right out as
the best possible cover to that black-blooded embarrassment. Night made great
cover for that sort of thing. When your sneakers weren't glowing with little
bits of purple.
Deadwood Graves: "I like... swords?" Sexual innuedo not intended. He stared
up at her with innocent blue eyes before squinting and craning his head away
from her hand to look at it again before watching Xun take his leave. "Don't
be a stranger!" he
Deadwood Graves: called out, waving his hand above Diana's head towards Xun.
Str33t Magic: "You mean you like swords that are apt to vaporize you or send
you into some other dimension where Ann Coutlture rules all." She would
smirk a little bit and shake her head. "I swear, i'm claiming you as my Gay
Boyfriend,
Str33t Magic: Cedri---" The sudden kiss to her cheek from Xun was
unexpected, especially given how he was when it came to any kind of affection
and this in-turn actually caused Diana to hold the spot he kissed and her own
cheeks started to tint
Str33t Magic: little pink. Watching as he took off, her eyes would follow
him till he was gone. Biting her lip, she would look over her shoulder at
Cedric once more. "I hope he'll be ok." Not that he couldn't take care of
himself, far from
Str33t Magic: it. She just worried about her friends. She worried about
Helena and Vic on a nightly basis when they were out looking for leads.
Deadwood Graves: "What's that even got to do with liking swor -- " and then
it hit him like Xun's kiss to Diana's cheek hit her. "I get it. Swords
like..." he let out a fit of laughter. "Ah, I'm sure he'll be fine. Plus, you
can always check up on
Deadwood Graves: him, can't you? With whatever it was he gave to you?" He
quirked up his brow, craning his head over her shoulder some. "You should
check it out," he gave her a pat on the shoulder, hoping it would encourage
her to get up off his lap
Deadwood Graves: because he was still obsessing over the sword on the other
side of the room.
Deadwood Graves: *pat on the back
Accepted Arcana: [ And now I'm getting the incessant calling out every few
minutes, so I've got to go. Pieces! ]
Deadwood Graves: ( calling out? )
Str33t Magic: When Cedric laugh, Di would just grin and chuckle. "Si Si."
She said this, allowing some of that spanish accent to flow through. "I can
check up on him. It's just.. different knowing he isn't just outside in the
tent." With
Iost beast: [I'm gonna smoke a bowl and see about this sleep thing]
Str33t Magic: the pat to the shoulder, Di actually did get up, she herself
was curious about it. So, sliding off of his lap she would walk over to
where it was, but kept a safe distance from the weapon since she had no idea
what might do.
Deadwood Graves: As soon as she permissed him to go over to the weapon, he
nearly jumped from his seat as he hurried on over back to it. At this rate,
he just might end up being found in the storage room by tomorrow with the
cursed weapon, stroking
Deadwood Graves: it and calling it his precious, having turned into Gollum.
"Isn't it just fascinating? To wonder about this pieces history? The amount
of hatred that must of been put into this thing to give it such a powerful
curse..." He stuffed
Deadwood Graves: his hands into his pockets, trying to keep them from
reaching out for it.
Deadwood Graves: *piece's
Str33t Magic: "It is pretty cool, but i'm getting some really bad vibes from
it." Those doe browns would blink a couple of times before she folded her
arms over her abdomen and just kept staring at the thing. Finally there was
a knock on the
Str33t Magic: wall next to the kitchen and a tentacle was placing a bag in
the service window. Turning from where she stood, Di moved over and took the
bag, but not before looking into the window and smile. "Thanks, Tenty, I love
you." This was
Str33t Magic: said gleefully since she now had food. Taking a couple of
steps back, she would walk back over to where Cedric was and took another
look at the sword. Placing her hand on his shoulder, she would look to him.
"Why don't we head to
Str33t Magic: bed, Cedric. You can look at it some more tomorrow.
Str33t Magic: "
Str33t Magic: "Infact, why don't I show you the Xbox?"
Deadwood Graves: Diana walking over to get her food from Chef Tentacles was
but a blur of motion from his peripheral vision as he stared at the sword. It
wasn't up until she placed a hand on his shoulder that he turned his face to
look at her. "Eh?
Deadwood Graves: Xbox? What's that?" It took one curiousity to distract him
from another.
Str33t Magic: Pulling her headset from her head, which was still on, she
would put it on his head. "Maybe that will jog your memory." On the other
end, he could hear the 9yr old telling the other person it what he was doing
with his mom
Str33t Magic: last night, ontop of several other lewd things.
Deadwood Graves: He tried not to be rude and laugh at what the prepubescent
kid's voice was screaming out but failed. Chuckling, he shook his head side
to side. "If my mum ever heard me talking this way..." He gave a smile to
Diana. "So, you've got
Deadwood Graves: a room here in Wolf Moon? I haven't seen what yours looks
like yet."
Str33t Magic: "It's a guest roon-ish. I'm likely moving in, in a week and a
half since my contract with the Atlantis Casino will expire by then. Come
on, you might as well check it and Xbox Live out." Taking him by the hand,
she would lead him
Str33t Magic: to the rooms. On the way there, she was deciding what to
introduce him to first, Halo 4, Black Ops II or something else. Bayonetta
was a good one too. She'd figure something out.
Str33t Magic: Maybe Left 4 Dead. Yeah, Left 4 Dead or Resident Evil.
Deadwood Graves: He mozied on up to her room, following her lead. Once
inside, he could definitely see that it was still a guest room. "Ah, this
design isn't thrilling at all. Can't wait to see what you do with the place
once you're in!" he smiled
Deadwood Graves: widely before taking a seat on a chair and looking around
the place.
Deadwood Graves: *He
Deadwood Graves: But then decided he was too tired for it and passed out on her chair.
